Lamentations 1:9-11

⁹ Her ^(A)uncleanness was in her garment’s seams;
She ^[a]did not think of her ^(B)future.
So she has ^[b](C)fallen in an astonishing way;
^(D)She has no comforter.
“^(E)See, Lord, my affliction,
For the enemy has ^[c](F)honored himself!”
¹⁰ The adversary has stretched out his hand
Over all her precious things,
For she has seen the ^(G)nations enter her sanctuary,
The ones whom You commanded
That they were ^(H)not to enter Your congregation.
¹¹ All her people groan, ^(I)seeking bread;
They have given their treasures for food
To ^(J)restore their ^[d]lives.
“See, Lord, and look,
For I am ^(K)despised.”
